This Complete Kit also includes the CP-UV01-SA smartphone adapter and a detachable light shield.
The smartphone adapter allows the CP-UV01 to be positioned over a smartphone camera, while the light shield helps reduce ambient light around the viewing area for easier observation of the green response.

Use It With Your Smartphone

The included CP-UV01-SA smartphone adapter allows the CP-UV01 to be positioned over a smartphone camera.

Simply attach the adapter, align the CP-UV01 with the camera, and use the free ComPhysics Green UV app to observe the visible green response in real time.

The app can help you observe, record, and compare relative signal changes under different test conditions.

Detachable Light Shield

The included detachable light shield helps reduce ambient light entering the viewing area.

This can make the green response easier to observe, especially under brighter indoor or outdoor conditions.

The light shield is removable, so the CP-UV01 can be used either with or without it depending on the observation environment.

Battery-Free Optical Operation

No battery or external power is required for the CP-UV01 itself.

The CP-UV01 uses a passive optical wavelength-conversion structure to produce a visible response when suitable ultraviolet light reaches the device.

This allows direct visual observation without an electronic UV sensor, display, or built-in power source.

Compare UV Transmission Through Everyday Materials

The CP-UV01 can be used to visually compare how different materials affect the UV signal reaching the device.
