Attach the CP-UV01 to a smartphone with the included CP-UV01-SA.

Simple setup

Use it by eye or with your smartphone

Point the CP-UV01 toward the light or transmitted UV source you want to compare.
Use the detachable light shield when ambient light makes the green response difficult to see.
For recording, attach the CP-UV01-SA, align it with the camera, and use the free ComPhysics Green UV app.

Frequently asked questions

What does the CP-UV01 show?

It produces a visible green response when suitable ultraviolet input reaches its passive optical conversion structure. The response can be observed directly or recorded with a smartphone.

Does the CP-UV01 measure an absolute UV value?

No. It is a visual indicator for relative comparisons under similar conditions, not a calibrated radiometer and not a substitute for certified measurement equipment.

Does the CP-UV01 require a battery?

No battery or external power is required in the CP-UV01 itself. A smartphone is optional and is used only for recording or app-assisted comparison.

What is included in the Complete Kit?

One CP-UV01 body, one CP-UV01-SA smartphone adapter, and one detachable light shield. A smartphone is not included.
