Joosun Yun, Ph.D.
Joosun Yun received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Hanyang University, Korea, in 2009 and 2015, respectively. He conducted research at RIKEN as an IPA (International Program Associate), Visiting Scientist, Postdoctoral Researcher and SPDR (Special Postdoctoral Researcher) from 2013 to 2021. Subsequently, he engaged in research and development at Etamax Co., Ltd. in Korea from 2022 to 2025. Throughout his career, he has developed various simulation software based on computational physics to address critical challenges related to LEDs (Light-Emitting Diodes), QCLs (Quantum Cascade Lasers), and power device packages. His current interest lies in the development of advanced engineering tools based on computational physics, optoelectronics, and thermal physics. His previous publication list is linked below.
