Dr. Joosun Yun
Joosun Yun received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in the electronics engineering field from Hanyang University, Korea, in 2009 and 2015, respectively. He had conducted research at RIKEN as an IPA (International Program Associate), Visiting Scientist, Postdoctoral and SPDR (Special Postdoctoral Researcher) from 2013 to 2021. After that, he conducted research and development after joining Etamax Co., Ltd. in Korea from 2022 to 2025. During his research at former institutes and companies, he had developed several simulation software based on computational physics to solve several important problems related to LEDs (light-emitting diodes), QCLs (quantum confined lasers), and power device packages. His current interest is the development of promptly usable engineering tools based on computational physics, optoelectronics, and thermal physics. His previous publication list is linked below.
