Ultraviolet light is invisible to the human eye, which makes it difficult to tell where it is coming from or whether it has passed through a material. CP-UV01 converts incoming UVA/UVB into a visible green response, allowing you to check UV transmission quickly and intuitively—without batteries or an external power source.

The videos below show two simple comparisons. Different light bulbs can produce different relative UV signals, and window glass can significantly change the amount of UV reaching the detector. With CP-UV01, these differences become visible as changes in the green response.
Important Measurement Note
CP-UV01 is designed for visual and relative comparison of UVA/UVB. It is not a calibrated radiometer or UV Index meter, and the current version does not support UVC.
Results may vary with distance, angle, ambient light, weather, glass, film, camera settings, and other measurement conditions. For meaningful comparisons, keep the test conditions as consistent as possible.
